Even more 'I'm sorry James' banners have appeared over the A52

Even more signs apologising to 'James' have appeared over the A52.

Two more signs have been erected over a bridge which reads "I'm sorry, James" with a sad face.

Now, nine balloons with cartoon-style faces have also appeared over the dual carriageway near Spondon, reports DerbyshireLive.

Thousands of drivers will have seen the signs since they were first put up earlier this week, but the meaning behind the cryptic message is still not known.

It is not the first time signs have appeared over the A52 - in the past, people have put up signs related to Brexit and football.

And, elsewhere in the UK, Derby County fans were mocked with an M1 banner which called the Rams a "failure since 2007" following the team's play-off final defeat in May.
