Even ISIS bride Shamima Begum has had enough of Brexit

She might be living in a Syrian refugee camp, but even ISIS bride Shamima Begum has had enough of the Brexit mess dominating the UK.

The 19-year-old, who has been featured regularly in the news since she was tracked down by a Times journalist , has revealed that even in the al-Hol desert camp where she currently lives, the Explosive No Deal Brexit leaked letter predicts huge price hikes and security chaos dominates television coverage.

She told reporter Anthony Lloyd: "It goes on and on without end. It's so boring that I ask the sisters to flick on to the cartoon channel to get away from it."

Speaking for the first time since the death of her third baby in March , the 19-year-old also told journalist Anthony Lloyd that she was brainwashed when she left London for Syria at the age of 15 and 'really regretted everything.'

She said: "I have sat down and thought about how long I would have to stay here. And I have kind of accepted that I will have to stay here, I will have to make this like a second home."

She had previously struck a more combative tone, with little remorse for joining the murderous caliphate - which prompted anger from many in the UK.

But others argued that she had been groomed from a young age and urged Home Secretary Sajid Javid to reverse his decision to tear up her UK citizenship.

"I was brainwashed."

In her latest interview, she added: "Since I left Baghuz I really regretted everything I did, and I feel like I want to go back to the UK for a second chance to start my life over again," she said.
