'Even better' - Pundits say the same thing ahead of Arsenal vs Manchester City fixture

Manchester City will be looking to take another step towards regaining the Premier League title on Sunday when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Pep Guardiola 's side are 10 points clear at the top of the table and on a stunning run of form, going unbeaten in 24 matches in all competitions since their 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in November.

Their 3-1 victory over Everton last time out was their 17th consecutive win - and 12th in the league.

It also saw them become the first top-flight team to win their opening 10 fixtures of a calendar year.

Arsenal are 10th in the table, 22 points behind their opponents, who have already beaten them twice this season - 1-0 in the league and 4-1 in the Carabao Cup.

Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen is backing City to make it a third victory over the Gunners with a 3-1 win.

"Arsenal continued their improved form with victory at home to Leeds last Sunday," said Owen in his latest BetVictor column.

"The game was over by half-time, although the Gunners were a little complacent in the second half when conceding two goals.

"Manchester City continued their ruthless run of form winning away at Goodison Park midweek.

"The Citizens are steam-rolling all before them at the minute, and with a win in the cup already under their belts at the Emirates this season, I think they’ll have too much for the home side once again."

BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson agrees with Owen and is also predicting a 3-1 away win.

"Arsenal always look more dangerous to me when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is playing through the middle, and it is a big boost for them to have him back in the team and scoring," said the former Liverpool defender.

"But Manchester City just keep churning out wins. They are playing really well anyway, and they have got Kevin de Bruyne and Sergio Aguero on the way back to full fitness, which is going to make them even better."
