A trip to your nearest COVID-19 vaccination centre is a date many Lanarkshire residents have already pencilled into their calendar.
While the appointment is pretty much a one-off, it's still a somewhat bleak affair.
But one local has decided to make it a little bit more amusing.
Pictured is Bananaman - who turned up from 29 Acacia Road for his jab at the Ravenscraig vaccine centre on Monday - because, after all, even superheroes need protection from the virus.
The hilarious image shows the caped hero focused as he waits in line for his vaccine.
It was shared on Twitter by a user saying: "My wife just sent me this photo from the Ravenscraig vaccination centre."
Amused locals laughed at the sight of a patient Bananaman queuing to roll up his sleeve.
One said: "I go for my second jag on 3 June. I need to think of an outfit."
Another added: "That’s brilliant, superb sense of humour. I desperately wish that happened when I was there last week."
Many applauded Bananaman's effort to make others laugh.
One post read: "And why not - looks superb, cheered the others up a wee bit."
And another questioned how easy it would be for Bananaman to get vaccinated in his costume.
The user said: "I don't want to be all practical-minded, but he's not going to look as cool when the nurse tells him to get his kit off so she can give him the jab."
