HYDERABAD: Four persons, including two teenagers, were convicted by different local courts in the city on Thursday for creating nuisance and eve-teasing.
The city police said that two persons, D Manikanta and Bhuvaneshwar, both residents of Bholakpur, were imprisoned for 37 days and 19 days for creating nuisance and eve-teasing in an inebriated state.
In another case, K Bharat, who created nuisance by misbehaving with the women residents of CC Nagar, was also convicted. The court awarded 112 days of imprisonment. In the fourth case, J Nagesh, was awarded imprisonment of five days for body-shaming a woman and passing comments at Banjara Hills on May 21.
