Nottingham Forest’s ownership, led by businessman Evangelos Marinakis, have converted more than £20m worth of loans into shares.
A “statement of capital following an allotment of shares” has been published on the Companies House website, showing equity changes at the club.
It details how £20.8m worth of loans have been converted into equity, to further support the Reds.
The equity changes were filed alongside Forest’s annual accounts for 2019/20, which are due to be published by Companies House in the near future.
A source at the club said the equity shares were a show of “huge commitment” from the owner to the Reds.
Under-23s action
Nottingham Forest Under-23s were undone by a second half penalty from Birmingham City’s Adan George as they were beaten 1-0.
Andy Reid’s men were bright in the first half but were thankful to forgotten man Abdoulaye Diallo for several strong saves as Blues poured on the pressure after the break.
The pressure eventually told as Riley Harbottle felled Tate Campbell just before the hour and George beat Diallo from the spot to register Birmingham’s sixth straight victory.
Alex Gibson-Hammond was the most painful thorn in Blues’ side in a goalless first period in which the hosts didn’t threaten Diallo’s goal.

After the third-placed Hornets, they have home games against Reading and leaders Norwich City, followed by away matches at Brentford and Cardiff City.
Chris Hughton’s side have spent this season concerned with matters at the opposite end of the table, though are now eight points clear of the bottom three.

Watford have suffered a significant injury blow ahead of their clash with Nottingham Forest - but have reacted by announcing a new signing.
Midfielder Tom Cleverley suffered minor ligament damage in the Hornets’ 2-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers on Wednesday night, being forced off in the final 10 minutes of the match as he was replaced by Ben Wilmot.
He is expected to be sidelined until after the international break later this month, ruling him out of his team’s next four games - starting against the Reds tomorrow lunchtime.
Watford have Dan Gosling and Nathaniel Chalobah suspended for the meeting with Forest at Vicarage Road.
