The lifestyle YouTube vlogger Eva Gutowski has come out as bisexual to her fans.
A leading YouTuber, Gutowski has over seven million followers on her ‘Life as Eva’ channel and more than 2.4 million on Twitter, the medium she chose to make her announcement.
“Just because you haven’t dated someone of the same sex does not mean you can’t be taken seriously as a bisexual,” she wrote. “I am ready for myself to fall in love with someone, no matter who they end up being, and have been since I was 12. Boy or girl.”
Gutowski, from Southern California, recently ended her relationship with fellow YouTuber Alex Hayes. One of a number of increasingly influential internet celebrities, the 22-year-old’s blogs are a mixture of scripted comedy, fashion and beauty tips.
Her largely female, teenage fanbase have propelled Gutowski and her highly produced videos to YouTube fame.
