Eurydice Dixon's accused murderer faces more charges

Police have laid three additional charges against the Melbourne man accused of raping and murdering aspiring comedian Eurydice Dixon.

Jaymes Todd, 19, was initially charged with the 22-year-old's rape and murder at Princes Hill in the city's inner-north.

The Melbourne Magistrates' Court has been told police have now charged Mr Todd with additional offences: attempted rape and two counts of touching in a sexual manner against Ms Dixon.

Ms Dixon was walking home from a comedy gig in the early hours of the morning when Mr Todd allegedly attacked her.

A passer-by found her body on a soccer field at Princes Park on June 13.

The court heard Mr Todd's defence lawyer has now been served with outstanding reports from a biologist and pathologist and has been given more time to consider the extra charges.

Mr Todd will reappear in court via video link on October 30 for a further committal mention.
