Eurovision Song Contest 2019 odds: Which country is favourite to win?

Get ready for all the cheese, all the camp and all the political voting as the Eurovision Song Contest is back for another year.

And the Eurovision fun isn't just restricted to Saturday night. Oh no, far from it. This year's competition officially gets going on Tuesday night with Eurovision 2019 semi final 1 - countries and running order for Tuesday night

The United Kingdom aren't in it, or indeed semi final 2 on Thursday as, as one of 'the big five', they are automatically in the final alongside France, Spain, Italy, Germany and host nation Israel.

Israel are hosting this year's Eurovision after their 2018 act Netta triumphed with her song Toy in Portugal last year.

If you're part of a Eurovision sweepstake at work or usually put a cheeky bet on the contest, here are the current odds, which are likely to change after Tuesday night.

One of the big favourites is Australia's Kate Miller-Heidke.

These are the top 10 odds for the winner according to Eurovision World :

Netherlands (Duncan Laurence - Arcade) - 3/1

Sweden (John Lundvik - Too Late for Love) - 5/1

Russia (Sergey Lazarev - Scream) - 8/1

France (Bilal Hassani - Roi) - 9/1

Australia (Kate Miller-Heidke - Zero Gravity) - 9/1

Azerbaijan (Chingiz - Truth) - 12/1

Italy (Mahmood - Soldi) - 17/1

Switzerland (Luca Hanni - She Got Me)- 21/1

Malta (Michela Pace - Chameleon) - 21/1

Iceland (Hatari Hatrio mun sigra) - 23/1

*The UK's Michael Rice is currently 22nd in the odds with average odds of 101/1
