Eurovision Rylan Clark's two word verdict as he shares what every Scouser is thinking

Rylan Clark has shared his two word verdict in the aftermath of Eurovision.

Liverpool provided the perfect backdrop as it played host to one of the world's greatest party events last week. A carnival atmosphere swept across Merseyside as Eurovision fever was embraced across the region.

Rylan played a key part in the BBC's broadcast as he commentated on the semi finals with Scott Mills. The former X Factor contestant got into the spirit of the occasion as he made the most of his stay in Liverpool.

Rylan was seen celebrating in multiple venues across the region and DJ'd a star studded after party at Teddy's on Slater Street after Saturday's final. The 34-year-old took to Instagram yesterday to share the sad realisation that the memorable week has came to an end

He said: "From the biggest party on the planet... to sitting on the pavement at a services on the M6." Rylan summed up the comedown with a matter of fact verdict as he said: "That's showbiz."

The feeling is echoed by people in the city today as the city's Eurovision transformation is dismantled so it can return back to its normal state. The ECHO shared a snap of the beautiful songbirds being deflated, alongside the caption: "How a few of us will be feeling this morning"

The feeling was shared in the comments from fans still coming to terms with the event being over.

Jessica said: "Mood."

Ruth commented: "Omg yes."

Babak shared a tearful emoji

Krystina said on Twitter: "Can't believe it's all over! Couldn't be prouder of my home city, Eurovision 2023 you were amazing."

However, the legacy of Eurovision will live on as Liverpool will look back on the past week as one of its proudest ever moments. More than half a million people arrived in the city and enjoyed an amazing experience as many praised the Liverpudlian welcome and hailed the event as one of the greatest Eurovisions of all time.
