Eurovision Rylan Clark's Liverpool encounter with Dannii Minogue leaves fans in disbelief

Eurovision fans were in disbelief as Rylan Clark celebrated with a pop star yesterday.

The host has embraced the welcome in Liverpool as the city stages the international song contest. A whole host of events are being staged in Merseyside in addition to the contest this week.

Pop royalty, Dannii Minogue, has arrived in Liverpool to premiere her new BBC Three dating show, I Kissed A Boy. The 51-year-old fronts the programme, which sees 10 single men come together in an Italian Masseria in the hope of finding love.

The premiere took place at the Everyman Cinema in the Metquarter and Rylan was in attendance to view the groundbreaking show. He shared a snap alongside Dannii as he said: "Officially homosexual."

Danni took to the comments and revealed it was their first ever encounter as she said: "So great to finally meet tonight."

Rylan responded: "Too long xxx" Fans were in disbelief that the two had never met before.

Sinead said: "I can’t believe you guys have never met before!" Other fans praised the two after the snap.

Sue said: "Beautiful people, great picture of you both."

Ryan added: "Love this xo"

Emma posted: "Gorgeous photo of you both "
