Cancel your plans, grab the snacks and throw on the fancy dress because Eurovision is here again!
The annual competition we know and love has its grand final on Saturday night at the Expo Tel Aviv in Israel. The country won hosting rights after Netta claimed victory last year with TOY.
On Tuesday night, 10 countries – including Australia (yes, they can compete) and San Marino – made it through the voting to Saturday night’s spectacular. Tonight, 18 countries will perform and fight for their spot on the sparkly bill this weekend.
The UK – along with Spain, Italy, Germany, France and hosts Israel – are automatically given a spot in the final without having to go through the semi-final rounds. The UK will be represented by Michael Rice and his song Bigger Than Us. However, the chances of “Britain Calling!” next year is slim with odds of 200/1.
With the semi-finals done, the 26-strong list complete and just one day to go, follow all the build-up ahead of Saturday night.
Eurovision is on BBC One, Saturday at 8pm
