Eurovision 2022: When is it on TV and where can you watch it?

It’s back! Eurovision 2022 is taking place in Turin, Italy this year and we’re excited to have our guilty pleasure on screens once again.

Ireland had a great number of victories through the 1980's and 1990's, however once again we have not made it to the final, after Brooke Scullion lost out on a spot in Saturday's final.

While many felt that Brooke was robbed, no doubt Irish fans will still be tuning in this weekend to watch the popular competition.

Here is everything you need to know about the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.

When and what time is it on at?

This year's Eurovision Song Contest final airing on Saturday, 14 May at 8pm.

Where can I watch it?

You can watch the final live on RTE One, RTE Player and RTE Radio 1. Marty Whelan will commentate for Ireland and the 66th staging of the competition will be hosted in Turin by Alessandro Cattelan, Laura Pausini and Mika at the PalaOlimpico.

Who’s expected to win?

Ukraine’s entry, rap group Kalush Orchestra, is expected to pick up a lot of votes.

Other favourites include last year’s winning nation, Italy with Mahmood and Blanco, Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs and the UK’s entry, TikTok sensation Sam Ryder.
