Eurovision 2022: What song will Ireland's entry Brooke Scullion be signing?

Co Derry singer-songwriter Brooke Scullion is all set to take the stage at the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy on Thursday.

Representing Ireland, the 23-year-old will be battling it out for a place at Saturday's live final at the semi-final on May 12.

She will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow Derry Eurovision star Dana who won the competition representing Ireland in 1970.

What song is Brooke Scullion performing for Ireland at Eurovision 2022?

Brooke will be performing her original song 'That's Rich' at the 2022 song contest.

Dubbed 'Blondie meets The Gossip', 'That's Rich' is a fiery and empowering track that focuses on how you should never settle for anyone who doesn’t fulfil your needs.

Speaking about the single, Brooke said: “I was reading Debbie Harry’s autobiography and wanted to encapsulate the attitude she portrayed in her life.”

Oozing with energy and sass, the songwriter demonstrates her impressive and powerful vocal range, which soars atop a throbbing beat and playful instrumentation.

“That’s Rich” premiered on RTE One’s Ryan Turbidity radio show and was performed for the first time on national TV on RTE's Late Late Show Eurosong Special on 4th February where Brooke topped the votes.

You can watch Brooke perform 'That's Rich' on Thursday, May 12 on BBC 3 at 8pm
