Ukraine won the 66th Eurovision song contest, with the UK enjoying a rare second spot in the competition.
This year's singing spectacular was hosted in Turin by singer-songwriter Mika alongside Italian presenter Alessandro Cattelan and Italian singer Laura Pausini. But not all viewers were impressed with the presenters, with some branding them "awkward" and "unfunny", reports Devon Live.
One Twitter user wrote: "#Eurovision Worse presenters ever. Ditch them now.", whilst another added: "The presenters need to shut up, their so unfunny it hurts #Eurovision"

A third person also commented: "The dog is sleeping right through the presenter "comedy" segments." Lucky boy." A fourth person wrote: "The Eurovision Song Contest is great so far, I think, apart from the awkward and not very funny presenters."
A fifth person said: "The cringy presenters are just an #Eurovision tradition" and another said: "those presenters! They are so annoying!"
This year, the UK is being represented by 32-year-old TikTok star Sam Ryder with his uplifting pop song Space Man. Fans who've watched the widely shared video of the performance online have been blown away by his vocals and the guitar solo he does as Space Man reaches a rip-roaring crescendo.
His song reflects positivity which the artist continues to exude through his upbeat look on life. The line “Gravity keeps pulling me down” and “Been down some black holes” taps into the more negative things in life causing sadness.
The Essex singer first shot to fame during the coronavirus lockdown in 2020 when he posted music to the social media platform TikTok. During a time when the world was plunged into darkness, Ryder found light and started producing covers of pop songs.
Ryder covered tracks by Sia, Alicia Keys and Justin Bieber, among others. Acclaimed American singer Keys even commented on Ryder’s cover of her hit If I Ain’t Got You, thrusting the British star into the spotlight.
