Despite a dismal result last year, the United Kingdom is actually the fourth favourite to win Eurovision this time around.

The annual song contest takes place in Turin, Italy on Saturday May 14 this year, following Måneskin's victory with Zitti e Buoni in 2021. The remaining countries participate in one of the two semi-finals, with the best 10 from each going through to perform in the prestigious final - getting one step closer to Eurovision glory. Last year, the UK scored 'nul points' with James Newman's song Embers.
