While in recent years it hasn't been such a happy hunting ground for the United Kingdom, we're once again in the lineup for the Eurovision Song Contest final.
Gone are the Eurovision glory days of the likes of Brotherhood of Man, Bucks Fizz and Katrina & the Eaves, with the UK now usually found well down on the second half of the leaderboard after the votes have poured in from across the continent.
It's now been 22 years since we had a win and there was some drama last year when a man stormed the stage during UK entry SuRi's performance of Storm.
Never a country to get too down about these things though, we're back for 2019 and just like the other countries in 'the big 5' - France, Germany, Italy and Spain, as well as host nation Israel, we're automatically through to Saturday evening's grand finale.

Who is the UK's Eurovision entry for 2019?
This year the UK will be represented by Michael Rice and his song Bigger Than Us.
And there's a North East connection here as Michael is from Hartlepool.
He won the chance to represent his country and the Eurovision Song Contest after winning this year's Eurovision: You Decide vote.
Michael is no stranger to a singing competition as he has previously auditioned for The X Factor and won BBC show All Together Now last year.
