It's just like Christmas for some people and Eurovision week has officially begun!
Annually one of the most watched TV programmes in the world, the Eurovision Song Contest has had us all hooked for years now thanks to its zany mix of camp, cheese, key changes and political voting.
And it's back for 2019, this year coming live from Israel after the country's 2018 act Netta triumphed with Toy in Portugal last year.
The UK, along with Israel, Germany, France, Italy and Spain, are automatically through to the grand final on Saturday night but all the other competing countries will first have to impress in the semi finals.
The first of these is on Tuesday night and the participating countries and running order is as follows:
Eurovision 2019 semi final 1 running order:
- Cyprus
- Montenegro
- Finland
- Poland
- Slovenia
- Czech Republic
- Hungary
- Belarus
- Serbia
- Belgium
- Georgia
- Australia
- Iceland
- Estonia
- Portugal
- Greece
-
San Marino
The running order is based upon the results of the Semi-Final Allocation Draw that took place in January of this year. In this draw, it was decided in which half of which Semi-Final a participating country will perform.
Where to watch it
You can watch both semi finals in the UK on BBC Four at 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
