Eurostar launches sale for European city breaks just in time for Christmas - but get in quick

Eurostar has launched a massive sale of up to 25 per cent off its normal ticket prices, valid on journeys between November 2025 to March 2026.

Starting from November 4 until November 6, travellers can save 25 per cent on both standard Eurostar tickets and Eurostar Plus seats.

You have until Thursday, November 6 at 10.59 pm to book and secure the lower cost tickets for a city break in the coming months, but that can be for a journey taking place between now and March of next year.

There are some dates that are excluded from the deals. We’ve broken down all the need-to-know details below.

How to get the 25 per cent discount on Eurostar tickets

The sale applies to travel dates between Monday, November 24 2025 and Wednesday, March 11 2026.

However, this excludes November 30; December 7, 20, 26, 27, 28 and 30; January 2 and 3; and February 13, 14 and 22 – essentially sidestepping peak travel periods around Christmas, New Year’s and Valentine’s Day.

You don’t need to do anything to secure the discount, which is applied automatically at checkout. Simply book as normal via the Eurostar website.

The destinations included in the sale are Paris, Lille, Brussels, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, all accessible from London St Pancras International.

It’s getting easier and easier to travel to Europe by train from London, with Virgin Trains getting the green light to run their own service that would compete with Eurostar in the coming years.

The Channel tunnel currently only operates at about 50% capacity, with room for more companies to operate services along the route, with the Office of Rail and Road rejecting applications from Evolyn, Gemini Trains and Trenitalia to use the Temple Mills depot.
