European Space Agency on their new Quantum satellite, which could revolutionise data speeds in the future

We spoke to Elodie Viau from The European Space Agency who claims their new super-satellite could revolutionise data speeds in the future.

The satellite is called Eutelsat Quantum because it’s a “quantum leap” allowing onboard software to be reconfigured, Transformers-style, depending on demand.

Quantum’s due to launch aboard an Ariane 5 from French Guiana on July 27.

Scientists at Nasa and the University of Cologne say they’ve calculated the thickness of the Red Planet’s crust for the first time.

Using seismological imaging data captured by Nasa’s InSight lander, the research team reveal the clues behind the Martian interior region and its internal composition.

Government figures show more than one million children in England were out of school last week for Covid-19-related reasons.
