European side ready to pounce for highly-rated out-of-contract Swansea City youngster - reports

Dutch side ADO Den Haag are keen on bringing highly-rated Swansea City youngster Kees de Boer back to the Netherlands.

That's according to Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur, who claim the 19-year old is just one of several potential free signings being looked at by the Eredivisie outfit, who recently parted company with Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew.

Den Haag were seven points adrift of safety with eight games remaining before the coronavirus pandemic, and were handed a reprieve from relegation when the season was cancelled earlier this week.

Now, reports claim that bringing de Boer on board could well be a part of the club's rebuilding efforts.

The midfielder's current deal at the club runs out this summer and, like many other out-of-contract players this sumer, his future appears to be uncertain.

The Dutchman joined the Swans in 2017 after a six-year stint at Ajax's famous youth academy, but has only played one minute of first team action - a League Cup clash against Northampton Town.
