European rumours: PSG eye Pep Guardiola move, Leroy Sane set for Bayern Munich switch

The January transfer window is about to open across Europe, with some big deals potentially on the cards.

But it's not just players who could be about to change clubs in the first month of 2020.

Here are the latest European football transfer rumours.

PSG want Guardiola

Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing an ambitious move for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and are encouraged by a break clause in his contract with the Premier League side, Le 10 Sport reports.

The French champions reportedly want to replace Thomas Tuchel after the German boss fell out with star players Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, which is increasing the pressure upon him.

However, PSG believe Guardiola is the answer and the fact the report says he can leave City next season without any club having to pay compensation is a significant bonus.

Sane wants Bayern

Meanwhile, Leroy Sane could also leave Manchester City as Bild via the Mirror states that the German international is keen on joining Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

Sane, currently sidelined through injury, was courted by the Bundesliga champions during the summer window but the Premier League side managed to retain his services.

However, Sane is said to be keen on moving to Germany and will push to leave in the New Year despite City not wanting to lose his services.

Juve to keep Demiral

Juventus defender Merih Demiral has attracted plenty of interest ahead of the January transfer window, with AC Milan and a host of Premier League clubs interested in his services.

However, CalcioMercato report that the Italian giants have decided not to allow the 21-year-old to leave in the mid-season, despite the fact he is behind the likes of Leonardo Bonucci and Matthijs de Ligt in the pecking order.

Among those linked with his services were Arsenal, Leicester City and Tottenham but it's bad news for the Premier League trio.
