European club football is preparing to embark on a bizarre fortnight of hybrid season action.
Not only do we have the Champions League and Europa League resuming this week, but we also have four teams kicking off a new European season.
Linfield take on Tre Fiori on Saturday in a preliminary qualifying round of the 2020/21 Champions League.
The semi-final clash is part of a four-team mini-tournament in Nyon, Switzerland.
Before that, the 2019/20 Champions League and Europa League resumes, featuring the likes of Man City, Manchester United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea and Rangers.
The schedule has been caused because of football's suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
