The 2019 European election candidates for the South West of the UK

Local elections have already taken place in May - but don't put those pencils away yet because there's another election taking place this month.

Voters across the country will head to the polls for the 2019 European Parliamentary election on Thursday, May 23.

Hundreds of thousands of polling cards have been delivered to households across Bristol and the region within the last week.

It is now too late to register to vote at these elections.

The UK is divided into 12 electoral regions made up of the nations and regions of the UK.

Each region has between three and 10 MEPs and each MEP in a region represents each person living there.
