The 2019 European Parliament election is set to take place on Friday, May 24 - the same day as the local elections and the referendum on divorce.
Dublin has its own constituency, and there are three constituencies throughout Ireland.
There are four seats to be filled in Dublin, with 19 candidates having put their name forward for the vote.
