The European Championships next year will still be referred to as Euro 2020.
UEFA confirmed the news today having been forced to postpone the tournament on Tuesday because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
UEFA are also confident that all 12-host cities - Dublin is one of them - remain committed to the finals.
"We trust that all our venues will remain the same," European football's governing body said in a statement.
Euro 2020 will be played between June 11 and July 11, 2021.
