Any parent will know that travelling through an airport with children isn't always a stress-free experience.
After all, you're trying to be efficient and make it to the gate, keep the kids entertained, make sure you've got all the essentials for your flight AND keep your cool in the process.
The good news is that airports are increasingly catering to families whether through dedicated baby-friendly facilities to children's play areas that can be an easy way to keep children entertained while you wait for boarding.
Some airports are already leading the charge - and now Play Like Mum has revealed the top 10 best family-friendly airports in Europe.
Comparing 100 European airports, the website looked at everything from queuing times to baby-changing facilities, children's play areas, family lounges and even terminal cleanliness.

Zurich Airport topped the list, boasting high scores across cleanliness and the availability of terminal seating, as well as offering two dedicated family lounges and children's play areas, as well as pushchair facilities.
There's good news for Brits too as a UK airport featured in the top 10. London City Airport won points for seating and cleanliness, as well as the children's play area it offers (although it didn't feature specific family-friendly lounges).
