Europe's largest trainer festival Crepe City is returning to Manchester

Crepe City, the leading trainer event in Europe, is returning to Manchester for the second time this May.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the festival, with more than 150 traders showcasing the rarest and most in-demand trainers in the world.

This year the event will take place on Saturday, May 4 at Brickworks, just off St Ann's Square.

Crepe City will be marking its 10th anniversary this year, with the celebrations kicking off in Manchester.

Giving footwear lovers the chance to grab some of the world's most elusive trainers, the day-long event will also have Manchester DJ collective TRPHSE playing all day, competitions, trainer auctions, panel discussions and film screenings.

Crepe City was founded in 2009 by Ronal Raichura, and was initially hosted to just 100 people in a Notting Hill basement.

Now the event is at the forefront of the UK trainer scene, expecting to attract first-time buyers as well as avid collectors.

Two thousand people are expected to attend Manchester's Crepe City event, which will have a dedicated bar, bespoke trainer cleaning service, and dedicated chill-out area with footwear panel discussions.

As well as footwear aplenty, clothing brands from Manchester and London will be showcasing their wares.

VIP tickets are available, which will grant early access, queue jump, two free drink tokens and admission to the after party.

Crepe City Manchester will take place on Saturday, May 4 between 12pm and 5pm at Brickworks, just off St Ann's Square.
