Europe should not only lead the world in its drive to climate neutrality, but also play a central role in technologies to reach that goal, Belgium's Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said on Thursday.

"It is important that our country does not miss the technology train. Our country will not itself save the world, but technology that comes from our country, from Europe, can play an important role," De Croo told reporters on his arrival at an EU summit in Brussels.
