Arsenal suffered another loss as Eintracht Frankfurt came from behind to win in front of a half-empty Emirates Stadium.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time, only for Daichi Kamada to score twice to extend the Gunners' winless run to seven games.
A young Manchester United side struggled in Kazakhstan as Astana came from a goal down to secure victory in Europa League Group L, with makeshift captain Jesse Lingard getting his goal in 10 months.
However, Dmitri Shomko equalised before an own goal from Di'Shon Bernard, one of six United debutants, sealed Astana's victory. Elsewhere, Wolves reached the knockout stages with a game to spare in Group K despite letting a two-goal lead slip in Braga.
