Europa League draws featuring Rangers, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen will take place on back-to-back days

Aberdeen have been advised by UEFA the Europa League draw for the first two qualifying rounds will take place over successive days.

The draw for QR1 and QR2 was initially believed to have been scheduled only for Wednesday, June 19.

But in a bizarre announcement, Aberdeen, Rangers and Kilmarnock will also now go into the hat 24 hours earlier.

All three Premiership clubs are seeded for the first round, which will take place on July 12 and the return leg seven days later.

Aberdeen and Rangers are also seeded in the Europa League second round of qualifying, meaning they would avoid a host of dangerous opponents such as Wolves, Israelis Hapeol Beer-Sheva and Dutch outfit Alkmaar.

Managerless Kilmarnock are not seeded for QR2, however.
