Europa League draw hands Motherwell home tie for play-off round - if they get there

Motherwell will face a home tie in the Europa League play-off round - if they can overcome Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva.

The Steelmen will travel to Israel on Thursday to play their third round qualifying tie, which is a one-leg affair.

And the winners of the clash will then host Czech side Viktoria Plzeň or Danish outfit SønderjyskE on October 1 for a place in the Europa League group stages.

Stephen Robinson's squeezed past Northern Irish Premiership side Coleraine last night, letting a 2-0 lead slip before eventually coming through after extra-time and penalties with 10-men. Goalkeeper Trevor Carson was the hero with three saves in the shootout.

Meanwhile, Be'er Sheva pulled off a comeback to beat Albania side Lac with two late goals.
