EuroMillions results: Winning Irish ticket location as players urged to check for Friday’s prize

One Irish EuroMillions player has got their weekend off to a flying start after winning a life-changing prize in Friday’s draw.

The lucky winner scooped the top prize of €500,000 in EuroMillions Plus draw.

The National Lottery has today revealed details about the golden ticket - which they confirmed was the biggest winner of the night in Ireland.

It was purchased either online or through the App by a player from Co Meath.

A notification has been sent to the user’s online account as well as a separate email.

The winner becomes the sixth person in Ireland to scoop the EuroMillions Plus top prize so far in 2023.

The winning numbers in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 12, 19, 23, 34, 48.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of Friday mega draw event which offered a guaranteed jackpot amount of €130 million.

The winning numbers for Friday's main EuroMillions draw were: 3, 6, 8, 24, 50 and lucky stars 10 and 11.

The EuroMillions jackpot on Tuesday, March 7 is now heading for an estimated €145 million.

With over 91,000 Irish winners in last night’s EuroMillions draw, a spokesperson for the National Lottery has called on all players nationwide to check their tickets.

They said: “The guaranteed €130 million jackpot may have rolled on to Tuesday’s draw but over 91,000 players in Ireland have won prizes, in particular, one lucky player in Co. Meath who won the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize.

“We are specifically calling on our online players in Meath to check their emails today to see if they are the latest winner of this prize. The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
