EuroMillions results: Winning Dublin store revealed as punter wins big at St. James's hospital shop

Dublin's EuroMillions players are being urged to check their tickets after someone in the capital scooped big in last night's draw.

The National Lottery is asking visitors, patients and workers at St. James's hospital to be on alert after a ticket worth €31,535 was sold on the grounds of the hospital.

The lucky player bought their winning Quick Pick ticket on Monday at Griffin’s Londis Store in St. James’s Hospital in Dublin 8.

Owner of the store, Seamus Griffin said: “This is just fantastic. This will make somebody’s Christmas that extra bit special so we’re encouraging anybody who was in the store yesterday to check their tickets carefully."

He added: "It is a very busy store at the heart of the hospital so it is even more pleasing to know that the winner will most likely be a patient, a visitor or one of the very hard working staff at the hospital – whoever they are, we wish them well and hope they enjoy their win."

Elsewhere, a player from Meath was also left celebrating this morning after they matched 5 numbers and a lucky star in the draw winning a cool €203,097.

This winner was one number short of scooping the entire €25,884,845 jackpot which will rollover now to Friday night.

That winning ticket was sold at the Spar store on Fairyhouse Road in Ratoath, Co. Meath.
