EuroMillions results: One lucky British ticketholder scoops £105million jackpot

One lucky UK player has scooped an incredible £105m in tonight's EuroMillions draw.

The win makes them one of the biggest-ever British lottery winners.

Six lucky Brits have won big in the EuroMilllions so far this year in what has been a highly successful year for UK punters.

Players are now being urged to check their tickets to see if they have won.

The winning numbers are 8, 10, 15, 30, 42 and the lucky star numbers are 4, 6.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said, "On our 25th birthday, one very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £105M EuroMillions jackpot.

"Players across the country are now urged to check their tickets to see if they have won big.

“Tonight’s big winner has scooped the sixth EuroMillions jackpot banked in the UK this year.

"As The National Lottery reaches its 25th birthday, players continue to win big, adding to the 5,500 millionaires created since launch.

"By buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise, on average, around £30M every week for projects across the UK, including funding everything from local community projects to supporting the nation’s athletes.”

If the winner comes forward to claim their prize they will become richer than Cheryl Cole and Harry Kane.

It has been a bumper year in terms of British winners of the EuroMillions jackpot.

Patrick and Frances Connolly from Northern Ireland scooped a £114.9 million jackpot during a draw on New Year's Day.

That was followed by Ade Goodchild who banked £71 million in March.

Earlier this year, one British ticketholder scooped a stratospheric £170m.

They came forward to claim the prize on October 10 and received the money on October 28 - but have chosen to remain anonymous.

The previous record win was £161million, won by Colin and Christine Weir in 2011.
