A lucky Irish punter scooped half a million euro in the EuroMillions Plus tonight.
However there was no winner of the staggering €17 million jackpot in the main draw.
Lotto chiefs confirmed this evening that a player in Roscommon took home the €500,000 top prize in the EuroMillions Plus.
The winning numbers were 05, 29, 35, 40 and 50.
And while the top prize was not won in the main draw, over 39,000 players in Ireland won prizes including one Match 5 + Lucky Star prize winner of €165,113.
The winning numbers in that draw were 04, 21, 36, 41 and 47, with two lucky stars of 09 and 11.
