EuroMillions results: Lucky Irish punter scoops €500,000 after bagging Plus jackpot in Tuesday's draw

An Irish punter is half a million euro richer after Tuesday's EuroMillions draw.

The lucky Lotto player has bagged €500,000 after winning the jackpot in the Plus draw.

The National Lottery has revealed that the winning ticket was sold in the south of the country.

The winner can look forward to a trip up to Lotto HQ in Dublin once the coronavirus lockdown is lifted.

They matched all five numbers in the draw. They were 08, 15, 23, 41 and 42.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of the €30,777,246 top prize for the main draw.

The numbers for that draw were 12, 17, 24, 30 and 36, whil the lucky stars were 01 and 09.

Over 34,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
