EuroMillions results: Irish punter scoops €500,000 sum as €130million jackpot is won

A lucky Irish punter has scooped €500,000 in Friday's EuroMillions draw.

The Dublin player is now half a million euro richer after claiming the top prize in the Plus draw.

It comes as a Spanish player bagged the €130million jackpot.

The winning numbers for the main draw were 9, 15, 17, 25, 40 and the lucky stars were 3 and 9.

And 4, 15, 33, 40 and 43 were the numbers drawn in the Plus draw.

One Irish punter also claimed over €130,000 in the main draw, after being one lucky star away from sharing the top prize.

The National Lottery says over 117,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
