EuroMillions results: Irish player scoops €20k prize after matching five numbers

One lucky Irish player has won thousands after the Tuesday night EuroMillions draw on March 14.

The pundit matched five of the numbers called to win a cool €20,608 and now has 90 days to claim it.

The numbers called in the main draw this evening were: 16, 26, 28, 31, 46, and the lucky stars 11 and 12.

Although there was no winner of the €27 million jackpot, in total over 38,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.

The top prize in the plus draw was €2,000 which was won by 38 players who matched four of the numbers called.

They were: 3, 9, 26, 37 and 43. Similarly, there was no winner of the top prize in this draw of €500,000.

How to claim

Online Players

Players who have registered with an online account and choose to play through our website www.lottery.ie or on the app can claim their prizes in the following ways:

  • Prize amounts from €1 - €99 will automatically be transferred to your online wallet. You may withdraw any unused funds at any time by logging in and selecting your circled balance at the top right followed by "Withdraw funds". The specified amount will be issued by cheque, stamped “Account Payee Only”, to the address specified in your Player Account.
  • For prize amounts from €100 up to €500, a cheque will automatically be sent by post to your registered address.
  • If you win a prize from €501 up to €9,999 PLI will, subject to age and identification details being confirmed, send you a Claim Form for completion before a cheque is issued.
  • For prizes of €10,000 and above, please contact the National Lottery Claims Department on 1800 666 222 Mon-Fri 9.15am-5.30pm where arrangements will be made to process your prize.

Retail players

If you hold a winning ticket that you bought in a shop, you must claim your prize within 90 days of the applicable draw date(s).

Your ticket is a bearer instrument, so treat it as if it were cash. It is the only valid proof of a game played and must be presented to claim a prize.

You should sign the back of all winning tickets before presenting for payment.
