EuroMillions results Ireland: More than 100,000 Irish players win prizes in record-breaking €200m draw

More than 100,000 people around Ireland have won cash prizes in a EuroMillions draw that saw players bidding to win a massive €200 million jackpot.

While nobody claimed the record-breaking sum, or the EuroMillions Plus prize of €500,000, there were winners all around the country last night.

In total, 105 people won a €2,000 cash prize in last night's Plus draw – as four players around Europe took home prizes in the millions.

It comes as the EuroMillions jackpot swells to a size never seen before, after reaching the €200 million cap last Friday.

The winning numbers in last night's draw were 1, 4, 21, 24 and 46, with the lucky stars coming up as 2 and 12.

In EuroMillions Plus – which offers a top prize of €500,000 to one lucky punter – the winning numbers were 3, 33, 39, 45 and 46.

Recent weeks have brought a slew of lotto wins around Ireland, the most notable of which saw a Cork player scoop an astonishing €10.8 million last week.

And in the EuroMillions, someone in Wexford claimed €500,000 after winning big in the Plus draw last week.

The player, who bought their ticket at Hammel’s Centra store in Kilmuckridge village, scooped the win with the numbers 01, 03, 37, 41 and 46.

Lotto bosses are urging the winner to sign the back of their ticket and to get in touch to arrange the collection of their mammoth prize.

Meanwhile, there was no winner of Friday night’s historic €200 million jackpot, which will now be capped for Tuesday's draw.

Under the EuroMillions community rules, a jackpot is capped at €200 million and any excess will flow down to the next prize tier at which there are winners.

If it's not won, the jackpot can remain capped at €200 million for up to four draws.
