Euromillions: Record £167m jackpot could give Britain biggest ever winner on Tuesday

An estimated £167 million lottery jackpot on Tuesday will be the biggest ever offered to UK players after no-one won Friday's EuroMillions top prize.

The winning numbers in the Friday EuroMillions draw were 18, 32, 07, 48 and 19. The lucky star numbers were 03 and 07.

Two lucky punters in the UK became overnight millionaires with the UK Millionaire Raffle Selections XHVJ06918 and MJWJ77690.

Across Europe, seven people matched all five numbers plus one lucky number for a payday of £195, 868 while a further 20 matched five numbers to scoop £15,966.

No-one won the Thunderball jackpot of £500,000.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, said: "At an estimated £167 million, Tuesday's EuroMillions jackpot will be the biggest ever offered to National Lottery players in the UK.

"A single UK winner would be the biggest this country and Europe has ever seen.

"We urge players to get their ticket early to be in with a chance and also to help raise more millions for National Lottery good causes.

"On average, each week players generate more than £30 million to be added to the £37 billion raised so far."

The current UK record is £161.65 million, won by Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs, North Ayrshire, in July 2011.

There have been five EuroMillions jackpots of more than £100 million won by UK ticket holders.

In all, 91 UK ticket holders have won the EuroMillions jackpot or a share of the jackpot prize, placing the country second behind France in terms of jackpot wins.

There are now nine European countries participating - the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.

The first EuroMillions draw took place on February 13, 2004.
