£96m could be yours (National Lottery)

It's been a pretty lucky couple of weeks for National Lottery players in the region after someone in Greater Manchester claimed their stake in a £1m prize with just HOURS to go .

The lucky ticket-holder had until midnight on Monday July 8 to make themselves known and it took them six months to come forward and make a claim for the prize which relates to the Lotto draw on January 9, 2019.

But the work isn't done yet as someone in Tameside has become a millionaire - but doesn't know it yet.

A ticket bought in the borough won a £1m prize in the EuroMillions draw at the end of June and is yet to claim their winnings .

Euromillions is played in nine European countries and has two draws a week, with jackpots sometimes reaching into the hundreds of millions of pounds in the event of a multiple-rollover.
