EuroMillions draw: 10 things you could buy with €130m

It's fair to say most people have at some stage daydreamed about what they'd spend the EuroMillions jackpot on.

Some people have more lavish ideas, like expensive cars and homes and designer clothes.

Others feel like they'd be a little bit more generous with their winnings, planning to give money to family and friends.

Whatever your millionaire dreams are, you'd be guaranteed to live them if you're the lucky winner of tonight's extra special EuroMillions Mega Draw, which has a guaranteed jackpot of a whopping €130 million.

So, without further ado - here are 10 ideas of what you could spend the jackpot on if you're looking for ideas for when you make your big win.

Buy a house

Buying a house is on most peoples to-do list if they ever win, and with tonight's jackpot - the sky's the limit.

You could even buy this gigantic mansion (or should we say palace) in Donabate and do as you choose with the included 80 acres of land.

It's only €10 million after all, sure look, that would be pocket change if you won.

Invest in your own island

With the way the world is at the moment amidst the coronavirus pandemic, or even if you just prefer your own company.

A privately owned island would be one great way to spend EuroMillions winnings.

Check out this private Bahamas island complete with stunning sandy beaches, a natural harbour, a 2,100 foot airstrip and seaplane hangar and three cottages.

It's selling for €9.5 million and you could afford the plane to fly you there as well!

Just imagine sipping on a cocktail on your own private island away from all the pandemic madness, bliss!

Buy an expensive car

A new car is one of the first things most people would buy if they won a lot of money and with tonight's jackpot you could probably buy more than one and a garage to put all of them in.

Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Lamborghini - you could buy a car as flashy as your heart desires. Just hope nobody slams their car door into the side of yours in the supermarket car park.

Buy a ski resort

This isn't likely to be on many people's lists, but if you won the EuroMillions you could.

This ski resort in Western Ukraine is up for sale for $2.5 million.

Although it's an unconventional one, retreating from your regular life to go run a ski resort in the Carpathian mountains sounds like the beginning of a heartwarming Hallmark film.

Buy a Greek island and run a hotel

Mamma Mia! Here we go again. Take a leaf out of Donna Sheridan from the musical Mamma Mia's book and retreat to Greece to own and run your own hotel in paradise.

This Greek island, cleverly named Ethereal - is a little piece of heaven, and will set you back €9 million.

Explore the South Pole and Antartica

Starting in South Africa, the Emperors & South Pole Expedition takes you to to places the average person would only ever dream of seeing. You stay over in luxury pods, get to see Emperor penguins, and climb some very cold mountains - all for about $185,000.

Go on holiday

It seems fairly boring compared to potentially buying islands and ski-resorts and such, but winning the jackpot could give you the opportunity to go on all those trips you've always planned but never got to go on.

You could travel the world, no-expenses spared and experience everything life's got to offer with that kind of money. Of course, first you'll have to wait until we're all allowed travel again.

Buy a horse

Horses are gorgeous and loveable creatures and buying one is the epitome of what a lot of young girls plan on doing if they ever get rich.

In fact, you could even do a Kim Kardashian and buy 14 Friesian horses to live with you on your private island or ski resort. It's an odd number of horses to buy, yes. But you could if you wanted to.

Friesian horses generally sell for between $25,000 and $30,000 each.

Travel to the stratosphere in a balloon

The Near-Space Odyssey sees a "Bloon" fly up to 36km into the Earth's stratosphere.

The experience lasts 12-hours and involves two hours of flying in the stratosphere with up to four guests, you get served meals while you're in the pressurised balloon and it only costs about $515,000.

Buy an Andy Warhol print

Many millionaires love investing in and collecting art and you could be one of them.

This Andy Warhol onion soup print is available for purchase right now. The website says that the price is available on request, so basically that means it's very expensive.
