EuroMillions bosses announce €1 million winning ticket was sold in Co Dublin

A €1 million winning EuroMillions ticket was sold in Co Dublin, Lotto bosses have revealed.

One lucky punter in the capital has woken up a million euro richer after scooping the top prize in the 'Ireland Only Raffle' last night.

In a standard EuroMillions draw ten Irish players win €5,000 in the raffle, but on Friday a €1 million prize was added for a special raffle draw.

The code on the winning ticket is IHNR69611.

Meanwhile there was no winner of the €84 million jackpot in the main draw, which will roll over to a staggering €90 million next Tuesday.

And National Lottery chiefs said they hope to reveal the name of the store where the €1 million winning ticket was sold in the coming days.

A spokeswoman said: "As with any prize win over €1 million, it is important that we inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this amazing win to sink in.

"We’re looking forward to welcoming our second National Lottery millionaire of 2020 to our winners’ room next week.

"If you are the lucky ticketholders please be sure to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize."
