Someone in Dublin has woken up to the news that they've been handed a life-changing amount of money following Friday night's EuroMillions draw.
The capital now has a new millionaire after a special 'Ireland Only Raffle' draw worth a cool €1 million was sold in Dublin.
The ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winning code, found on the winning EuroMillions ticket, is IHNR69611.
In every single EuroMillions draw, ten players in Ireland win €5,000 on the 'Ireland Only Raffle' but in last night's draw, an additional €1 million was added to the draw.
Despite the big Dublin win, there was no winner of the main jackpot worth €84 million which rolls over to €90 million next Tuesday.
There was over 64,000 Irish winners in Friday's EuroMillions Jackpot draw and the National Lottery is encouraging all of its players to check their tickets.
A National Lottery spokesperson said it hopes to reveal the name of the winning Dublin store in the next couple of days.
They said: “As with any prize win over €1 million, it is important that we inform the winning retailer and of course to give the winning ticketholder the time and space they need to let this amazing win to sink in.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming our second National Lottery millionaire of 2020 to our winners’ room next week.
