A service station in Kimmage has been revealed as the seller of a Euromillions ticket that has made one lucky Dubliner €500,000 richer.

The winning Euromillions Plus ticket was sold at the Applegreen service station on Kimmage Road Lower, Dublin 12.

The numbers were drawn last night and the winning Quick Pick ticket was sold earlier on Tuesday.

The winning numbers were: 05, 21, 28, 32, 42.

As well as this, another lucky Irish punter is celebrating a huge win after scooping over €250,000 on the main Euromillions draw.

The ticket was sold in Hannigan’s Bar & Grocery in Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

The €256,142 win fell just one number short of the €17m jackpot.

Store owner Sean Hannigan said: “The whole town has gone absolutely mad since word got out about the win.

"Because we have a bar and grocery store, locals would have known about the win since last night so there’s a lot of excitement and a lot of celebrating going on in the town this morning, it’s absolutely incredible."

Over 38,000 players in Ireland won prizes on Tuesday night's draw.

The winning numbers of the main draw were: 10, 11, 24, 36, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 03, 05.
