EuroMillions £172million prize up for grabs tonight in UK's biggest ever jackpot

Brits have a chance this evening to become the biggest ever National Lottery winner.

Tonight's EuroMillions is offering a whopping £172 million jackpot prize for one lucky ticket holder.

A sole jackpot win would eclipse the current record prize of £170.2million - won by an anonymous player in a EuroMillions draw in October 2019.

The senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, Andy Carter, said: "Friday's exciting EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £172 million.

"If one UK winner banks the entire sum, they would instantly become Britain's biggest ever National Lottery winner."

To put the prize in perspective, a potential winner would immediately earn 5,467 times the average UK salary of £31,461.

Two of the 10 biggest ever lottery wins have happened this year.

On April 2, an anonymous ticket holder won £122,550,350 followed by a £111,540,000 in a SuperDraw just two months later.

Tonight's prize is certainly nothing to shy away from.

With the prize money, you could snap up over 340 average properties in London and surpass the £110million winnings of tennis number one Novak Djokovic.

And if that wasn't enough, you'd have enough left over to buy a G6 private jet worth £47,650,000.
