Scots are being urged to check their EuroMillions tickets after a UK winner won the £111 million jackpot last night.
The winner, who has not yet claimed the prize, matched all five numbers as well as the two Lucky Stars.
The numbers were 07, 20, 36, 40, 46 with Lucky Stars 02 and 04 - and the winner has scooped the nation's ninth biggest ever lottery win.
It is the fourth UK EuroMillions jackpot winner this year - two were won in April and another was won on New Year's Day.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: "What amazing news, one UK winner has scooped the incredible £111M EuroMillions jackpot in tonight’s special Super Jackpot draw.
"This is the fourth UK jackpot win this year! Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky jackpot winner.
"National Lottery players make a huge difference to National Lottery Good Causes across the country raising, on average, around £30M every week.
"Thanks to National Lottery players, over £1bn has been distributed to date across the UK to help tackle the impact of coronavirus."
The full prize is £111,540,000.00.
The highest UK winner claimed a jackpot of £170m in October 2019, but they chose to stay anonymous.
Last month a mystery EuroMillions player - known only as Mr. B - became a millionaire overnight after scooping a UK Millionaire Maker prize.
The Lanarkshire local played a Lucky Dip via the National Lottery app on May 7 and came up trumps.
Camelot’s Andy Carter said: "Huge congratulations to Mr. B for winning this fantastic prize.
"After a few simple taps, he has become a millionaire overnight."
