Eurocamp offers free cancellations in 2021 for Brits affected by travel restrictions

Eurocamp has announced that it will let holidaymakers change their holiday or get a full refund if they need to cancel due to changes in Foreign Office travel advice.

The offer is part of the holiday firm's new 'Peace of Mind' policy for trips in 2021.

If the Foreign Office advice is against all non-essential travel to your chosen destination, you'll be able to either pick a different trip, receive a refund credit note or opt for a full cash refund.

The policy is based on what the advice is at the time of your holiday, not when you booked.

For example, at the time of writing the FCDO advice is against non-essential travel to France. However, if you book a Eurocamp holiday now for 2021 and the advice still hasn't changed when your departure date comes around, you'll be able to choose from the options as outlined above.

The policy also includes other promises to holidaymakers.

For example, the company has a 'free amendment service' which lets you change your parc location, dates or accommodation free of charge up to seven days before your departure.

Other perks include £99 deposits; the full balance won't be due until six weeks before you depart, and you can choose how you pay it - for example if you want to pay it in installments or in one big sum.

Eurocamp currently has a sale with 35% off all its 2021 holiday destinations and accommodation types - you can find out more on the Eurocamp website.

However, it's worth noting that most of its parcs are across Austria, Croatia, France and Spain where, at the time of writing, the Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel.

There are also parcs in Italy where currently there are no FCDO travel restrictions - although you will be required to take a Covid-19 test to enter the country.

However, the advice to each of these countries may be subject to a change in travel restrictions. Always check the latest FCDO advice for your chosen destination before planning, booking, or going on a trip.
