Euro 2020 tickets: How to apply and buy tickets for major tournament

England fans will be out in force once again next summer at the finals of Euro 2020.

After reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup in Russia, Gareth Southgate's men embarked on another excellent qualifying campaign.

The Three Lions will be among the favourites for the tournament and will certainly have plenty of backing.

England will play all three of their group games at Wembley, with the semi-finals and final also staged in the capital.

It means thousands of fans will be showing their support with the first major international tournament finals on English soil since 1996.

Here is all you need to know on getting tickets for the tournament next summer.

Are tickets still available?

While thousands of fans will have snapped tickets up already in the general sales last summer, UEFA have confirmed another million will go on sale.

Fans of the 20 countries that have already qualified will be able to apply for tickets to watch their team.

When do they go on sale?

Fans can apply for tickets when they go on sale on Wednesday December 4 at 1pm.

They will have until 1pm on December 18 to snap the tickets up.

For teams to qualify through the play-offs, tickets will be available shortly after the matches in March.

How do you apply?

The tickets will go on sale exclusively at UEFA'S Euro 2020 website.

England fans can also apply through the FA and the 'Follow my team' ticket scheme.

The FA will receive an allocation of tickets to all England matches.

How much do they cost?

Tickets range from around £43 to £150 for group stage matches at Wembley and in other host cities including Glasgow, Dublin and Amsterdam.

For matches in Baku, Bucharest and Budapest, prices range from around £25 to £105.

UEFA have confirmed semi-final tickets will start at £72 with the cheapest final tickets at £80.
